Some people think that they just get to declare or give lip service to Jesus being their savior
i.e I believe Jesus died for me and they give that lip service that they are then in Jesus. Some say Jesus is birth in them, they don't have to do anything, Jesus in them will live their life, they just have to hand over to Jesus. They don't have to follow Him or keep his commandments, He will do it. They love to quote Gal 2:20 ….I do not live but the life I now live is Christ.....

What Paul means by that is the old man (Paul's old ways keeping the oral law for salvation) do not live anymore but since he repented he lives a new life by keeping the law of Yahweh according to the guidance of the spirit in him). He is now following Jesus example whereas before he was following man's doctrine. Paul is saying now: ..follow me as I follow Jesus... 1 Cor 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ. 1 Cor 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. If Paul is saying that we should follow him as he follows Christ, does he not understand that Christ is in him??? Or is it rather people who follow man's doctrine that does not understand what Paul is saying. If you are a son you are led by the Spirit. Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. We should be followers of Yahweh …..1, Eph 5:1 Be imitators/followers of God, therefore, as beloved children,

If Christ is in you why must the Spirit of God lead Him to walk a certain way? It does not make sense. It is man's made doctrine to say Christ is in you and you don't have to do anything. If you are a son you have the Spirit of Yahweh in you and Jesus can work through the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you to walk after Him. This is how Jesus is operating in the believer. After Jesus resurrection, He led and guide the disciples through the Holy Spirit. Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: This is how Jesus operates in you to help you to walk in His Fathers way.

How did Jesus walk during His earthly ministry? Jesus did not start His own doctrine or His church or laws, no He follows His Father's teaching and laws. He was baptized received the Holy Spirit and since then He followed the Spirit in Him. The Spirit Of Yahweh was in him. Jesus said that the works and the commandments and things he was doing were not his but his Fathers. Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Jesus was keeping His Father's Law and Word. 1 Jo 2:7 This is our example. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. In Mark 7:8-13 we see Yeshua Himself equating the Word (logos) of God with the commands of God. Can it be any more plain than this?
8, For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9, And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10, For Moses, said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11, But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
12, And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13, Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Let’s examine Peter’s use of “logos.” 1 Peter 1:24
24 For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the
25 word (rhema/rJhvma) of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word (rhema/rJhvma) that was preached to you.
Here we see Peter discussing the “logos of God: in verse 25. He defines it by referencing the Hebrew scriptures of Isaiah (Isa 40:8). What was the word of the Lord to Isaiah? There is no doubt. It was the Law.

Jesus ministry was all about preaching the Word of God/Law of God and keeping it. Just look around you how lawless people have become. Here in South Africa drivers don't obey the road signs anymore they don't care if they hit somebody or even kill somebody at a stop sign or traffic light. Why is this happening? Well just go to any church and the preacher will preach to his audience you don't have to keep the law anymore, the law is a curse etc …..well that is starting to affect the people. I can't call them Christians because if they were then they would obey laws. This is just a basic simple law where you express your concern for fellow drivers. You know to love your neighbor – but of cause who keep it. What about the sabbath day? They will keep any day as long it is not Yahweh's sabbath day. They are asking for lawlessness Yahweh will give it to them. 2 Th 2:10-11

Again, so we see Peter equating the Logos of God in verse 23 as the rhema of the Lord in verse 25.Where else do we see the rhema of the Lord?
Romans 10:8
But what does it say? “The word (rhema/rJhvma) is near you; it is in your mouth and in your
heart,” that is, the word (rhema/rJhvma) of faith we are proclaiming:
This is Paul quoting from Deuteronomy chapter 30. Compare
Deuteronomy 30:14
No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
So, what is this word that is to be obeyed? Let’s continue reading.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16
15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death, and destruction. For I command you
16 today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees, and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. The word that Paul was quoting AND proclaiming here in Romans 10 is the LAW. This happens to be the same word that Peter was proclaiming in 1 Peter 1:25, which was equated as the “logos of God” in verse 23. Therefore, making the “logos of God, See also Jeremiah31:31 and Eze 36:25-27

Just AFTER Yeshua explains the parable of the sower regarding the word of God, He says what we are to do with the Word of God. Compare these five verses later in verse 20.
Luke 8:20-21
20 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” He 21 replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word/law and put it into practice.”
Again, just three chapters later He says virtually the same thing.
Luke 11:27-28
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who  gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word/law
28 (logos/lo/gou) of God and obey it.

There is much more scripture to be studying to enable you to see that Yashua said we have to keep the law and obey it. This is what He and Paul meant that we should follow them and obeying and doing what they do. Our Father shows us His love by giving us grace, He removed the death penalty from us so that we can be free of that law of sin and death. Now may I ask what love do you have for Him? Is it your doctrine, your church, or just by being a good person or just reading your Bible? But how is He asking you to love Him? Not according to your ways but His way?

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him
2Jo 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
1Jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth, not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. It is clear from these passages that Yahweh wants you to love Him by keeping His commantments/law. Not any other way.

Paul said examine yourselves whether you are in the faith 2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you fail the test?

This is very important to test whether we are in the faith, meaning believing what Yashua said and follow His example. To be in Christ means also to be one with Him and to listen and obey Him and to do as He was doing walking the walk as He is doing. Time is running out. Do not let this happen on the day when you stand before Yahshua and He might say to you, “sorry I don't know you You did not love me and keep my law and word. You followed another man's doctrine”

Paul use the word “law” sometimes without explaining what law is he talking about. He mention 7 laws in his letters.

1) The Law of God (Romans 3:31; 7:22-25; 8:7)
2) The Law of Sin (Romans 7:23-25)
3) The Law of Sin and Death (Romans 8:2)
4) The Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2)
5) The Law of Faith (Romans 3:27)
6) The Law of Righteousness (Romans 9:31)
7) The Law of Christ (1 Corinthians 9:21)
