DO YOU YOU BELIEVE YOUR BIBLE|PART2

You can also look at John 7:16-17 where Jesus tells everyone that His teaching is not His own but the Father's, being taught by God, how novel, so who do you want to be taught by, earthly men or God, if you could pick who would you pick? who would you choose to teach you. It should be a no-brainer but guess who people almost always choose. Paul says something similar to these ideas so let's just read it. Just before these verse Paul is talking about how the mature are taught, and just after these verses, He tells the Corinthians that they're infants, they're not mature and they're not being taught this way and that's a problem. Let's read these verses “Thing's which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, (like commentaries and books) and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.  For to us God revealed these things through the (sixty-six book canon?) Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? (in other words the spirit that is in every human knows that man better than anything) So also the things of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. (same thing the Spirit of God knows God and we know God because we have his Spirit dwelling in us) Now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God. so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, (God gives us these things) which things we also speak, not in teachings of words of human wisdom but in teachings of the Spirit,  SPIRITUAL ONES, BORN-AGAIN BELIEVERS DISCERNING SPIRITUAL THINGS. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand or comprehend them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Cor 2:9-14

Those who have the Holy Spirit they get it, the natural man completely does not get it he doesn't have a clue what you're talking about he just can't comprehend what you're talking about it seems like foolishness to him, and that's why Paul in this context has been talking about the fact that the wisdom of men is foolishness to God and vice-versa. Spiritual ones discerning spiritual, things that's what this is about, do you really believe what your Bible says? do your choices and actions reflect that you really believe this because your Bible says it. Here's something else, IDOLATRY, we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true (or literally the true one) and we are in Him who was true in His Son Jesus Christ this is the true God and eternal life. (we know the true God by being in His Son Jesus) and then John says. Little children guard yourselves from idols. 1Joh 5:20-21. That's not just some weird afterthought that John had, he's telling you that the only true God is the one that you know through Jesus, not the one you know about by reading your Bible, but the one that you know by knowing his word, through Jesus (Jesus said the words I speak is not mine but the Father's word) .You personally know this God, not knowing about God, knowing about God doesn't do anything for you as far as your salvation goes, You have to know God for eternal life that's why Jesus said at John 17:3, Father this is eternal life that they may know You and Jesus Christ whom you sent because we have to believe in Jesus, as well Jesus said believe in God.

Believe also in me pretty strange thing for Jesus to say if He was God - but he's the way to the Father.
We can't know the Father apart from Jesus he's our mediator between us and God, we need Jesus, or we can't know the Father, and if we don't know the Father(as an person not a trinity God) we won't have eternal life, this is the God we need to know, everything else is an idol, like the Trinity. The Trinity is part of everything else, the true God is the one we know through Jesus His Father, his Father alone, Jesus Christ's God, the God of Jesus. Jesus Christ God is not a Trinity, and we should not worship the image of God either. In a similar way Paul says you turn to God from idols to serve a living and true God, (not a doctrine on paper we know. the Living God the true God the one who gives life because he is life by definition), and to wait for his Son from heaven whom he raised from the dead Jesus who rescues us, or delivers us from the coming wrath 1Thes 1:9-10. It's either knowing the true God, the God of Jesus or you have idolatry on your hands something you need to seriously think about. We're led by God not by doctrines of earthly men for all who are being led by the Spirit of God these are sons of God Rom 8:14-16, not all who adhere to your Creed your denominations creed or your King James Bible, it's all who are led by the Spirit of God. You're not led by the Spirit of God you are not a child of God, and as Paul also says in this context, you do not belong to Christ for you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear, but you have received a spirit of sonship. (the Holy Spirit which makes us God's children) by which we cry out Abba Father that same spirit testifies with our spirit that we are children of God Rom 8:14-16.

There's no guessing, and if you are a child of  God, you know there's no guessing, there's no, I kind of think, you definitely know if you are a child of God. In the next verse we read. See how great love the Father has bestowed on us that we would be called children of God; and so we are, and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. (who's it talking about? the Father, we need to know the Father for eternal life) beloved now we are children of God and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when he appears, (who's it talking about? The Father) we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.  (as Hebrews writer says without holiness no one will see God) and everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. The world does not know us, just think about what that means, in the Gospel of John Jesus said they do not know me or my Father, well didn't they know this guy was Jesus of Nazareth? What did he mean when he said they did not know me? the same is true of all the children of God because they are begotten of God. “True worshipers” but an hour is coming and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth Joh 4:23-24. For such people the Father seeks to be his worshipers. God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth see Phil 3:3 as well, similar idea to Romans 8:14 those who are led by the Spirit of God these are the sons of God. Notice Jesus in these verses are talking about worshiping in spirit and in truth and then in John 14 and 15 the comforter is called the Spirit of Truth because the spirit guides us into all the truth. Now the Lord is the spirit, (that doesn't work in trinitarianism) and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, But we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image (the same image, what image? now the Lord is the spirit transformed into the same image) from glory to glory, just as from the Lord the spirit ….this the glory of Christ who is the image of God. for we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord 2 Cor 3:17-4:5

Paul is talking about making us into the image of God, notice how Paul tells you outright, when he says the Lord is the Spirit, he's talking about Jesus Christ Jesus as Lord, this is what he is preaching, he's talking about the glory of the Lord ,he says we are transformed into the same image as the Lord, the glory of Christ who is the image of God. God is spirit and true worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth and in this way they're transformed into the same image. Reading your Bible and understanding it even if you get it perfectly right is not going to transform you into the image of Christ. You won't know Jesus who is the way to God and you won't know God the Father for eternal life by doing these things. Walking in the spirit, being led by the Spirit of God, will transform you into the image of Christ. Only when the Spirit abides in you will you ever know the only true God for eternal life. It's not a game of pretend, pretending you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you isn't going to do you any good whatsoever. Paul says another thing, in Romans 8 you are not in the flesh but in the spirit if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you though the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness, and what he's telling you is that you have eternal life because the Spirit dwelling in you. The Spirit abiding in us is, is what gives us life but if the spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead, Spirit of the Father, dwells in you he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies. through His spirit.

Keep reading through chapter 8, Paul tells you that those who have the first fruits of the Spirit eagerly await the resurrection of the body and that is our hope, the revelation of the sons of God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. If then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him Luke 11:13. We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him. God wants us to have His Spirit but we must obey Him Act 5:32. True worshipers bear fruit, you will know them by their fruits Matt 7:16,20 I am the vine you are the branches he who abides in me and I in him he bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing Joh 15:5. By this we know that we have come to know him if we keep His commands. The one who says “I have come to know Him” and does not keep his commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him but whoever keeps his word in him the love of God, has truly been perfected or completed. By this we know that we are in him: the one who says he abides in him ought himself to walk just as Jesus walked 1 Joh 2:3-6. That's why Jesus says unless you pick up your cross and follow after me you just can't be my disciple you have to follow in his footsteps, His spirit. No cannon required no copies required no translation required no interpretation required none of these problems. If you know Jesus who is the temple for the Word of God, you already know the truth from God in these last days, God has spoken to us in His Son.

Jesus doesn't need to be canonized. God already did that when he raised him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand, giving him authority over everything. God is still making copies of Him, but he doesn't make copies from copies like earthly men do, they are conformed to His image. And this word of God which Jesus speaks is understood by men of all tongues, no translation required no  interpretation required. Who taught you what you know? your pastor or priest, professors at Bible college, earthly men in their writings from the Bible bookstore, your Bible study group which is it? We can be taught by God. God is spirit and we must walk by His Spirit, a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. And that's probably 99% of the reason that we don't see people's actions showing us that they actually believe that they can be taught by God. It just doesn't seem like it could happen, it's foolishness to them so they seek to be taught by earthly men. 1 Joh 3:13

The wisdom of God comes from above. James talks about this in James chapter 3, it comes from God in the Spirit of God, and it's foolishness to men. Just as all those theology books that you may have read are foolishness to God. The wisdom of God is something much greater than anything you'll ever read in any theology book or in any Creed, or in any doctrines written out by men. The natural man can't comprehend this and he won't get it, he can't get it, he doesn't get it and he won't get it no matter how hard he tries, but we can be taught by God. The natural man doesn't have to be the natural man, it is because of himself that he is in the position that he's in. I think everyone really needs to ask themselves, if they really believe this, do you really believe that the Spirit will teach you all things because that's what Jesus said and if you don't believe what Jesus said, you don't really believe in Jesus. Do you? and if you really don't believe in Jesus what does that mean. May God bless you.
